LA GOMERA
La Gomera is one of the most exotic islands of the Canarian Archipelago. It has a beautiful landscape with colourful villages in the interior, and green valleys with terraces where bananas and hundreds of palm trees grow.
The mild variation of subtropical climate associated with the trade winds gives us a nice climate with an average temperature of 22 degrees. In the National Park "Garajonay", which is protected by Unesco, you will find a laurel forest, plant formations unique for their characteristics and degree of preservation.
The island is an Eldorado for one who looks for silence and nature and it is a must for people who like to walk.
La Gomera does not have an international airport, so you take the flight to Tenerife and then the ferry that will take you in 35 minutes to La Gomera.
I, Marion, have lived in La Gomera since 1989 and still have places to explore and footpaths I haven't walked.
By way of "Posada Productions" I rent casitas and rural lodging, which I manage for the local people. My husband and I have also a studio in front of our house in Chejelipes and an estate in Hermigua with three beautiful dwellings where guests can count on personal service.
All the casitas are situated in the valley of San Sebastián and Hermigua with the advantage that it is not far from San Sebastián which is where you arrive on the ferry. Besides, both of these valleys have a very pleasant temperature and a breathtaking green landscape during the year.
